Watch and learn how to create an absolutely perfectValentine’s Day bow you can use as a gift topper or tie right onto a wreath! In this tutorial, Sandy shows you a simple fold and twist bow technique and then finishes it with roses and a sweet shoelace-style bow center for an extra-romantic look. So, let’s get started!
Materials:
Mini Ribbon Rose bouquet
3 yds – 2.5” wide Wired White/Iridescent ribbon
22” – 1.5” wide wired Red/White Rose ribbon

Instructions:
First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire long enough to use to tie it to a wreath if desired. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side.
Next, take a length of pre-dovetailed sheer iridescent ribbon and lay it in the Bowdabra for the tails.
Now, take a longer length of the same ribbon and make a twist and fold bow.
First, scrunch in the ribbon, then bring the ribbon across to make a loop and scrunch down, twist, and repeat on the opposite side. Continue making loops back and forth, twisting and scrunching down into the Bowdabra. Make sure the wrong sides are always on the inside of the bow.
Place in the bunch of tiny roses. Next, make a little shoelace bow. Find the center of a piece of ribbon and scrunch it right side down into the Bowdabra. Now bring one side across and scrunch down, then bring the other side across and scrunch down.
Now scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot.
Pull all the loops open and arrange the bow. Use the excess wire to tie this perfect Valentine’s Day bow to a wreath or a gift.
