Hi everyone! Nick Kreticos of Nick’s Seasonal Décor here with an easy DIY magnolia wreath that’s perfect for your front door all year long. In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to create a timeless wreath and a beautiful coordinating bow using the Bowdabra®. Let’s get started!

Supplies:

* 14” Grapevine Wreath Base
* 3 Yards of 2.5” Wired Ribbon
* 2 Magnolia Foliage Stems
* 3 Magnolia Bloom Picks
* Bowdabra® Bow Wire
* Large Bowdabra®
* Hot Glue Gun

Instructions:

First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire.  Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra.  You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side.  This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.

Next, place two lengths of ribbon right in the Bowdabra for the tails.

Then use the same ribbon to create a twist and fold bow. To this multi-loop bow, bring the ribbon across and scrunch down.  Continue making loops back and forth, twisting and scrunching down into the Bowdabra.  Make sure the right sides are always facing upwards. End with a button loop in the middle.

Now, scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand.  Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot.  Tie a double knot for extra security. Use the excess wire to tie the Bow to a wreath.

Decorate the wreath:

Add the foliage all around the wreath and secure with some hot glue.

Now, work in the magnolia florals. Fluff and arrange the bow and dovetail the tails. This gorgeous Magnolia wreath works for all and any seasons!
