Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here with a Festive and Colorful fall bow with the Bowdabra.   This project is quick and easy, and can use an assortment of ribbons, including ribbon scraps.

Supplies:
Bowdabra Bow Making Tool Large
Bowdabra Bow Wire
Assorted Ribbons:
2 1/2″ Sunflower Meadow
2 1/2″ Juliana Linen Ribbon
Orange Burlap Ribbon from the Ultimate Fall Ribbon Kit
Yellow Burlap Ribbon
Green Burlap Ribbon
Foam Wreath

Instructions:

First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire, fold it in half, and insert it into the Bowdabra.  You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side.  This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.

Preparing the ribbon:

Cut 3 different colors of Burlap ribbon, each approximately 14″ in length.
Place 2 of each color in the Bowdabra.

Add 2 more strips of each color in the Bowdabra and use the bow wand to push the strips in the channel.

Pull up on the bow wire, threading the ends through the loop.
Pull tight, turn to the back, and tie a knot.
Dove tail all ribbon ends.

Using the excess bow wire, I tied the bow to the burlap-wrapped wreath.

My plan was originally to use this on my wreath, but then I came across the Sunflower Meadow ribbon.
The colors matched the burlap ribbons perfectly, so I created a separate bow.

As with the first bow, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire, fold it in half, and insert it into the Bowdabra.  You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side.  This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.

Cut 2 strips of the floral ribbon approximately 8″ in length.
Dove-tail the ends and place both pieces in the channel.

Leaving a 6″ tail, start creating the loops.
Create loops by passing the ribbon through the channel, twisting it on each turn so that the wrong side is on the inside of the bow.

Continue in this manner until you have created the desired number of loops.
I created 5 loops on each side.
Use the bow wand to push the ribbon into the Bowdabra.

Pull up on the bow wire, threading the ends through the loop.
Pull tight, turn to the back, and tie a knot.

Add the bow to a wreath:

Fluff out the loops and dovetail the remaining ends of the ribbons.

Using the excess bow wire, tie the bow to the wreath, centering it on the already created burlap bow. This colorful fall bow is perfect to bring the colors of autumn to your decor!
