Bring a sweet splash of summer to your wreaths, gift wrap, home décor, and more with this easy summer watermelon bow! In this fun tutorial, Nicole of Reed Family Farm shows you how to create a bright and cheerful bow using the Large Bowdabra®. With just a few ribbon strips and Bowdabra Bow Wire, you’ll have a beautiful seasonal bow that’s perfect for summer decorating, gift wrapping, and DIY craft projects.
Supplies:
* Large Bowdabra® Bow Maker
* Bowdabra Bow Wire
* (4) 15-inch strips of watermelon striped ribbon
* (4) 15-inch strips of watermelon ribbon
Instructions:
First, cut several groups of 15-inch lengths of ribbon and set aside.
Next, cut a length of Bowdabra bow wire, fold it in half, and place it in the Bowdabra. Tuck the ends under the Bowdabra so it stays out of the way.
Now, begin adding the ribbon strips. Fold the ribbon down 3/4 of the way, gather it together, and place it in the Bowdabra.
Continue adding the ribbon strips, alternating the loops and tails sides as you add them.
Add all the ribbon lengths in the same way. Now, thread the loose bow wire through the loops and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Remove from the Bowdabra, turn to the back, and tie several knots to secure.
Fluff out the bow by opening the loops and pulling down the tails. It couldn’t be any easier to make this easy summer watermelon bow! Perfect for any use, whether it is a gift, decor item, or more!
