How to make a super easy 3-2-1 bow

Join Nick from Nick’s Seasonal Décor as he shows you how to make the easy 3-2-1 bow, it’s simple, quick, and perfect for adding a fun finishing touch to your décor!

Supplies:

• 2.5 yards of 1.5″ wide wired ribbon (of choice)
• Large Bowdabra
• Bowdabra Bow Wire

Instructions

First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire.  Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra.  You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side.  This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.

Next cut some lengths of ribbon and dovetail the ends. Place them in the Bowdabra for the tails.To dovetail, fold the ribbon in half and cut at an angle away from the fold.

Now, make a fold and twist 3-2-1 bow.  Place the ribbon end in the Bowdabra. Now, bring the ribbon across and scrunch down.  Continue making three loops on each side. Make sure the right sides are always facing upwards.

Continue making loops in this manner, making two loops on each side this time.

Finally, finish it with a button loop in the center and you have a perfect 3-2-1 bow!

Now, scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand.  Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back and tie a knot.  Tie a double knot for extra security.

Fluff and arrange the loops on this super easy 3-2-1 bow!
