Video DIY – how to make a no-glue patriotic wreath

Sandy Sandler, the creator of the Bowdabra, is here to show you how to make the easiest no-glue patriotic wreath with the Bowdabra.  Make this wreath in just minutes, and everything is created right in the amazing Bowdabra! So grab your Bowdabra and let’s get started!

Materials:

Wire wreath form

Dollar store nautical rope, four packs

Eucalyptus bush

Tiny floral bush

Patriotic print ribbon

Crushed velvet Blue/gold ribbon #7809 1 1/2 yards

Brilliance red ribbon #7413 1 1/2 yards

Large white flower

Bowdabra

Bowdabra bow wire

Instructions:

First, wrap the rope around the wreath form.

Next, cut a long length of Bowdabra bow wire and fold it in half. Place it in the Bowdabra with the loop on one side and the two loose wires on the other side.  This will become your slip knot. Tuck the ends under the Bowdabra so that it stays out of the way while you are making your bow.

Now, place the foliage in the Bowdabra, spreading it on both sides. Then, lay in the tiny florals.

Next, create a fold and twist bow.  Twist some patriotic ribbon and place it in the Bowdabra, leaving about an inch. Bring the ribbon across and scrunch down.  Continue making loops back and forth, twisting and scrunching down into the Bowdabra.  Make sure the wrong sides are always on the inside of the bow. End with a short tail.

Repeat these steps with the blue/gold ribbon and the Brilliance red ribbon.

Finally, place a large white flower in the center. Now, scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand.  Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot.  Tie a double knot for extra security.

Shape, open the loops, and arrange the bow. Use the excess wire to tie the bow onto the no-glue patriotic wreath.
