How to make super easy Christmas decor with Bowdabra

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here with a quick idea for super easy Christmas decor with a Bowdabra bow. Get a jump on Christmas in July before the rush of the holidays is in full swing.

Supplies:
Bowdabra Bow Maker
Bowdabra Bow Wire
Ribbons
Wood Panel
Metal Word
Instructions:

First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire, fold it in half, and insert it into the Bowdabra.  You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side.  This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.

Cut a 12″ length of holly ribbon and place it in the channel.

Add a second 12″ strip of holly ribbon in the channel.

Place 2 additional 12″ lengths of red ribbon on top of the holly ribbons.

Using the same red ribbon, create a bow.
Create loops by passing the ribbon through the channel, twirling it on each turn.
Continue in this manner until you have created the desired number of loops.

Use the bow wand to push everything into the Bowdabra.

Finish by adding several lengths of pom pom ribbon.

Pull up on the bow wire, threading the ends through the loop.
Pull tight and tie off.

Fluff out the loops and dovetail the ends of the ribbons.

Adhere pattern paper to the wood panel.
Distress and ink the panel.
Adhere the bow to one side using a glue gun.

Add some greenery around the panel and adhere.

Using a craft pick, twirl the excess bow wire.

Add a wooden reindeer to the panel and use glitter glue to add a red nose.
Adhere the metal word on an angle.
Finally, add a hanger. It’s easy Christmas in July!

Thanks for stopping by.
