How to create an elegant Mother’s day card

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here to show you how to create a very elegant Mother’s Day Card with the Bowdabra.

Rinea Foiled Paper
Joy Clair stamps
Spellbinders dies

Elegant Mother’s Day Card

First, I created the bow by placing the bow wire in the Bowdabra and placing it underneath so it was out of my way while working.  Leaving a 3″ tail, I placed the ribbon in the channel.

Twisting the ribbon as it passed through the channel, I created a 5 loop bow, making the last 2 loops smaller so the bow would appear fuller.

Pulling on the bow wire, I tied off the bow.

Then I fluffed the bow and formed the loops.

Create the card

To create the card I embossed  Rinea Foiled Paper and adhered the bow in the corner by poking holes and using the bow wire to attach the bow.  Then I brought the bow wire back through the holes and rolled them on a craft tool or pencil to create spirals.

Finally, I placed the foiled panel on a green card.  The sentiment, from Joy Clair stamps, was stamped, die cut and added to the lower corner.

Thanks for stopping by.
