Dog Crafts for Kids

Kids will love making a foamies pet collar that dogs can wear around the home. Children can get creative when decorating the collar and add ribbon, rhinestones, and foamies. The collar is a great way for children to be creative but is not strong enough for leash walking or safe for a dog to wear unattended.

Using a no-slip shower mat kids can create a fun food mat for man’s best friend to eat on. The mat is painted to look like a table setting and is perfect to keep messes and spills from getting on your floor.

Design an easy to make no-sew felt bandanna with a bow, that short hair dogs can wear. Felt doesn’t fray so it is a very easy fabric for children to work with.

Have some favorite doggie pictures. Create a scrapbook layout and frame them. Attach clothespins to the frame for the perfect leash holder.

All these dog crafts projects and more can be downloaded at Crafters 4 Kids Pet Project Category.
