Hey everyone! I’m Joette from the Bowdabra® Design Team, and today I’m showing you how to create a beautiful no-glue cemetery vase arrangement using budget-friendly dollar store flowers and a simple pool noodle instead of floral foam. I’ll also show you how the Bowdabra® acts like a third hand, holding your stems in place while you design, making arranging easier, faster, and more secure. Let’s get started!
Supplies:
* 8 Assorted Dollar Store Floral Bushes
* Pool Noodle
* Cemetery Vase
* Large Bowdabra®
* Bowdabra® Bow Wire
* Zip Ties
Instructions
First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your floral arrangment.
Work by putting all the florals on one side. Fan out a floral bush and place it in the Bowdabra. In this arrangment we are using about 8 floral bushes. Simple fan the flowers out before you place them in the Bowdabra.
Place the florals small, medium and large. Fluff them our as you layer them.
Now, thread the loose bow wire through the loop and pull tight while holding down the stems of the floral bushes.
Remove from the Bowdabra and separate the wire ends. Pull tight, wrap around the stems and tie a knot and extra knot. Arrange the flowers.
Next, take a pool noodle and cut it to fit your vase. Slice the noodle horizontally and open it up and place in the stems of the flowers. Secure the tightly with a zip tie. If it isn’t tight in your chosen vase you can add another pool noodle slice around the first one and secure it with another zip tiel You have a perfect no-glue cemetery vase arrangement!
