Instructions
First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Next, using the yellow dotted ribbon, place it in the Bowdabra, leaving a tail. Bring it across, twisting and making a loop, then back across to the other side. You will have two loops on one side and one loop and two tails on the other side.
Repeat this step with the bee pattern ribbon, matching the loops and alternating the side with the tails. (same pattern, opposite side)
Continue this pattern with two more ribbons, alternating the loops and tails. (two loops and tails on one side, and one loop and tails on the other side)
Now scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot. Tie a double knot for extra security.
Fluff the bow, pull the tails down, and open all the loops. Dovetail all the tails. To dovetail, fold the ribbon in half and cut at an angle away from the fold.
Use the excess bow wire to tie the Bowdabra scrap ribbon bow to a wreath, or even a special gift!
