Video tutorial – You need to make this big beautiful bow

Bowdabra Bow Wire

3 yds of 2-1/2″ BEES & BLOSSOMS
(10YD) – Apple Green (Wide)

2 yds of 1-1/2″ BEES & BLOSSOMS (10YD) – Apple Green

2.5 yds of 1-1/2″ Cambridge Style

Ribbon (Gingham) – Green and White

Instructions:

First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire.  Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra.  You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side.  This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are working.

Next, using the 2 1/2″ wide bumble bee ribbon, scrunch in the ribbon, then, bring the ribbon across and scrunch down, twist, and repeat.  Continue making loops back and forth twisting and scrunching down into the Bowdabra.  Make sure the wrong sides are always on the inside.

Repeat this step with the gingham check ribbon making the loops just a little bit smaller. Finish with a small tail and dovetail the end.

Now, make another fold and twist bow with the 1 1/2″ bumble bee ribbon. End with a half loop in the center. Scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand.

Insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the it from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back and tie a knot.  Tie a double knot for extra security.

Arrange and shape your bow by pulling the loops apart and shaping. In just minutes you have a big, beautiful bow to use for all your spring and summer decor.
