Video – How to make a cute Mini Bowdabra funky bow

Make a bold Mini Bowdabra Funky Bow with Nick! This quick, simple project is perfect for any anytime décor, and it comes together fast using the Mini Bowdabra!

Materials Required:

– 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
– Mini Bowdabra
– Lime Green Ribbon Roll

Instructions

First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire.  Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Mini Bowdabra.  You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side.  This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.

Next, create a funky bow. Fold lengths of ribbon in half with a loop on one side and two tails on the other, like an awareness ribbon. Trim the ends at an angle. Then, place them in the Bowdabra alternating the sides of loops and tails. Create as many loops and tails as you desire.

If there is a wrong and right side of the ribbon, make sure you twist when you place it in the Bowdabra so that the wrong side is on the inside.

Now, scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand.  Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot.  Tie a double knot for extra security.

Separate the loops and tails, and fluff and arrange the bow.  You have a perfect Mini Bowdabra funky bow in just minutes. This bow is perfect for multiple uses, from gift packages to wreaths, and more.
