How to make the best Halloween swag with Bowdabra

Sandy Sandler, the creator of the Bowdabra, is here to show you how easy it is to make the best Halloween swag in just minutes!  Follow along with the super easy steps, and in no time, you will have gorgeous Halloween décor for your home. This swag is perfect for a door bow, or to attach to a lantern, or a wreath.

Materials:

2 – Black and white Bauble picks

Halloween Rose Bush

2 – glitter stem foliage pieces

30” – 4” wide white Wired Chiffon ribbon

58” – 2.5” wide black Wired Burlap ribbon

Bowdabra Bow Wire

Instructions:

First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire.  Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra.  You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side.  This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow

Next, take the spooky baubles and place one facing one way and the other facing the opposite way.

Now, take a length of chiffon ribbon and place it in the Bowdabra for the tails.  Then take a longer piece of chiffon ribbon, twist and scrunch it in the ribbon, then bring the ribbon across and scrunch down, twist, and repeat.  Continue making loops back and forth, twisting and scrunching down into the Bowdabra.  Make sure the wrong sides are always on the inside of the bow. Make 3 loops on each side.  Scrunch down with the Bowdabra wand.

Next, create a funky bow style bow. Fold lengths of burlap ribbon in half with a loop on one side and two tails on the other, like an awareness ribbon. Then, place them in the Bowdabra alternating the sides of loops and tails.

If there is a wrong and right side of the ribbon, make sure you twist when you place it in the Bowdabra so that the wrong side is on the inside. Repeat this step with some chiffon ribbon.

Finally, lay in the Halloween roses that you have split in two so you can place one on each side. Add the glitter foliage piece.

Now scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand.  Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot.  Tie a double knot for extra security. The Bowdabra wire makes it so easy!
