Looking for an easy and affordable way to create a stunning fall burlap wreath? In this DIY tutorial, Sandy Sandler, the creator of the Bowdabra®, shows you how to transform a simple Dollar Store wreath form into a gorgeous autumn masterpiece—no glue gun required!
Materials:
Tails: 1/2 yd – 1.5” wide Natural Burlap ribbon
3 Rose bud stems
1.5 yds – 1.5” wide Natural Burlap ribbon
2 – Berry sprays or stems
Ficus Foliage
2 – Eucalyptus stems
2 – Stems of Fall Leaves
14” – Wire Wreath form, wrapped

Instructions:
First, use the 3” wide burlap ribbon to wrap all around the wire wreath form.
Next, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Now, place the eucalyptus and Ficus stems into the Bowdabra. Then, add some berry sprays and roses. Add the fall leaves and the burlap tails.
Next, make a multi-loop twist and fold bow. Scrunch in the ribbon, then bring the ribbon across and scrunch down, twist, and repeat. Continue making loops back and forth, twisting and scrunching down into the Bowdabra. Make sure the wrong sides are always on the inside of the bow. Make three loops on each side, ending with a button loop.
Now, scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot. Tie a double knot for extra security.
Finally, shape and arrange the Bowdabra bow. Use the excess wire to tie the bow onto the fall burlap wreath. It’s so simple yet elegant and stunning!
