In this quick and easy DIY tutorial, we show you how to upgrade a sunflower garland with some beautiful Bowdabra bows. Switch up the ribbons and do this with any pre-made garland, or add the bows to Jute and create a simple and elegant bow garland.
Materials:
Bowdabra bow maker
Bowdabra bow wire
Sunflower garland
Bowdabra floral ribbon
Ruler
Instructions:
First, cut lengths of 2 ½” wide ribbon 20 inches long. Next, cut a length of Bowdabra bow wire, fold it in half, and lay it in the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other. This will be your slipknot.

Now, place the pieces of ribbon right side down into the Bowdabra. Then, bring one end across to make a loop and scrunch it into the bowdabra. Bring the other end of the ribbon across and scunch down. You have a little bow.

Next, thread the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Remove, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot and a double knot. Make as many small bows as you need for your garland.

I made 6 for my garland.

To finish your sunflower garland:
Tie on the bows in the spaces between the sunflowers.
Hang your garland on mantles, staircases, over doors, etc. Switch the ribbon prints and colors to fit whatever season you like.
