Learn how to make a perfect fall lantern swag using the Bowdabra® Bow Maker! Whether you’re decorating for fall or just adding a charming touch to your home, this quick DIY project is perfect for mini or full-size lanterns.

Materials:
Fall Pick
2 – Stems of filler flowers or berries
40” – 1.5” wide Natural Wired Burlap ribbon
40” – 1.5” wide Fall Festive ribbon
Mini Lantern
Instructions:
First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire long enough to be able to fold it in half with extra to tie it to the lantern. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Using the wired burlap ribbon, find the center and twist and fold across to make a loop. Repeat with another piece of burlap ribbon, switching the loops and tails.
Repeat this step with the fall festive ribbon.
Next, lay in the floral filler flowers and the fall pick.
Now, scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot. Tie a double knot for extra security.
Use the excess bow wire to tie the perfect fall lantern swag onto the lantern. Cut the excess bow wire off and fluff and arrange the swag.
