Materials required:
• 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
• Large Bowdabra
• Red Edge White Ribbon Roll
• Red Velvet-White Lace Edge Ribbon Roll
• Peppermint Picks
• Hot Glue
• Gift Package
Process:
First, Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra. Next, add the tails, 7/8″ and 2 1/2″ wide ribbon. Make them about 6 inches on each side.
Now, make a multi-loop twist and fold bow. Scrunch in the ribbon, then bring the ribbon across and scrunch down, twist, and repeat. Continue making loops back and forth, twisting and scrunching down into the Bowdabra. Make sure the wrong sides are always on the inside of the bow. Make about 4 loops total.
Next, repeat for another twist and fold bow with the 7/8″ ribbon, making the loops just a little bit smaller. Finish with a smaller button loop.
Thread the loose wires through the wire loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Remove carefully and then turn to the back and tie a knot and a double knot. Dovetail the ends of the ribbons.
To finish, attach the bow securely to the gift with some glue. For the final touch, add some peppermint picks with hot glue.
Make several and keep them at hand for when Christmas comes around and you want to decorate your special gifts in style.
