How to embellish a simple hat with an easy to make buffalo plaid bow

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here to share a Spring hat with a black and white buffalo plaid bow using the  Bowdabra.

Supplies:

Bowdabra Design Tool
Bow Wire
Buffalo Plaid Ribbon
Sheer Ribbon

Instructions:

Start by placing the Bow Wire in the Bowdabra and fold it underneath while working.
Select a 2 1/2″ wide ribbon for the base and a 1 1/2″ ribbon for the next layer.
Holding both ribbons together, place a 12″ length in the Bowdabra.

Start creating loops with the same ribbons.
Be sure to hold the ribbons together and twist the ribbons as they pass through the channel together.

Create 5 loops on either side of the channel.
Use the bow wand to push the ribbon into the channel.

Pull up on the Bow Wire and tie off.

Fluff out the ribbon.
Separate the loops, giving the bow a really full appearance.

Using the excess bow wire, tie the bow to the hat.
