Materials:

Mini Bowdabra

  • Bowdabra bow wire
  • Hat
  • Gloves
  • Socks
  • Candy
  • Ribbon
Instructions:

First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire.  Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra.  You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side.  This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.

Now cut a small piece of ribbon and dovetail the ends.  Lay it in the Mini Bowdabra.

Next, twist and place the matching longer ribbon in the Mini Bowdabra. Twist and make a matching loop on the opposite side.  Continue to twist and make loops just a little smaller than the last loops forming a butterfly-style bow.

Scrunch everything down into the Mini Bowdabra with the wand. Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot.  Tie a double knot for extra security.

Use the excess wire to tie it to your hat inside which you have included some gloves, socks, and candies. Gather and tie it in a bow so it is easier to remove.  Fluff and arrange your bow. What a unique way to creatively wrap a Christmas gift.
