How Kids Can Make the Perfect Thanksgiving Feather Tailed Pine Cone Turkey

Let’s make the turkey’s feathered tail:

  1. Fold the 15″ bow wire in half and put it in the Mini Bowdabra. Tuck the ends of the wire under the Mini Bowdabra to keep them out of the way.Wire in Mini Bowdabra Gold
  2. Next, layer the feathers into the Mini Bowdabra.Layer Feathers in Mini Bowdabra
  3. Compress the feathers with the wand.Compress Feathers with Wand
  4. With the feathers still in the Mini Bowdabra, pass the wire ends through the loop, and tighten. Bring the wires to the back side of the feathers and tie a knot. Leave the wire ends long.Pass Wire End through Loop
  5. Fluff the tail feathers, and set aside for now.

Now, let’s assemble the turkey:

  1. Print the turkey template. Trace the shapes onto the brown and yellow cardstock, and cut out.
  2. Glue the beak in place on the turkey body. Add eyes with a black marker.Add Eyes and Beak to Turkey Body
