How to decorate a seasonal hostess gift with a gorgeous Bowdabra bow

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here to share how to decorate a seasonal hostess gift with Bowdabra. If you always wonder what to bring to Labor Day and end of summer parties, don’t bring flowers that will wilt. Hostess plates would make a lovely gift to bring to any fall parties!  You could even use seasonal printed plates to make it even better!  So let’s get started!

Decorate a seasonal hostess gift

Supplies:

Mini Bowdabra
Bow Wire
Ribbon
Plates

Instructions:

Using scraps of the ribbon wrap them around a set of hostess plates.

Place Bow Wire in the Bowdabra, placing it underneath while creating the bow.
Add a strip of ribbon approximately 12″ long.

Create several loops and use the Bow Wand to push the ribbon into the channel.

Continue creating loops until you have the desired look.
I created a 4 loop bow.  Pull up on the Bow Wire and tie off.
Fluff up the bow.

Using the left over Bow Wire, tie the bow to the strips of ribbon which was wrapped around the plates.  Bringing the Bow Wire to the front, twirl each end on a craft pick to create spirals, thereby finishing off the hostess gift.
