Here’s an adorable winter wedding idea using remote control tea lights surrounded in beautiful bows! Just imagine lots of tea light bows that are remote control as part of the wedding decor! How romantic would that be! You can use them as centerpieces or pew bows – almost anywhere for wedding decorations!
Materials needed:
2.5″ Wired ribbon – 10yd rolls
Bowdabra
Bowdabra Bow Wire and Wand
Remote Control Tea Lights
Glue dots (heavy duty)

Tea Light Bows

We will be making a large, fluffy bow first with 5-four inch long loops on each side and then making 5 more three inch loops on top.

Let’s begin by cutting an 18″ piece of Bowdabra Bow Wire, folding in half and placing in the Bowdabra, tucking ends under.
Then crease the end of the 2.5-inch wide ribbon and place print side down into the Bowdabra.

To make the first loop, make a fold at the four-inch length and twist the ribbon, pressing down into the Bowdabra.

Next, fold and twist the other side at the same four-inch length, creasing down into the Bowdabra. Continue, folding and twisting loops on each side, down into the Bowdabra until all ten loops (five on each side) are made.

Continue making loops but decrease the length to three inches, making five – 3″ loops on each side. Then scrunch down the loops with the Bowdabra Wand.

While the bow is still in the Bowdabra, thread the loose ends of the bow wire through the loop and pull tightly, while gently pulling the bow out. Take the wire around to the back of the bow and tie in a double knot.

Fluff and straighten all the bow loops!

Glue on a remote control tealight using a heavy duty glue dot to the center of the bow loops to make an adorable tea light bow!
