How to make a breathtaking lemon wreath bow with Bowdabra

Sandy Sandler, the creator of the Bowdabra bow maker, shows you how to make a breathtaking lemon wreath bow to brighten up your summer décor.  It is so easy, you will be amazed at how quickly you can make this bow! Let’s get started!

Materials:

Floral greenery

Floral bush

Lemon print ribbon

Filler flower

Bowdabra

Bowdabra Bow Wire

Instructions:

First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire that is long enough for a slip knot and to be able to tie it onto a wreath when finished. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra.  You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.

Next, place greenery florals in the Bowdabra on each side. Then add some florals.

Now, take the lily bush and open it in half and place it in the Bowdabra with the lilies on both sides.

Next, place some tails of the lemon print ribbon, which have been dovetailed into the Bowdabra. To dovetail, fold the ribbon in half and cut at an angle away from the fold.

Using the same lemon print ribbon, make a fold and twist bow. Scrunch in the ribbon, then bring the ribbon across and scrunch down, twist, and repeat.  Continue making loops back and forth, twisting and scrunching down into the Bowdabra.  Make sure the wrong sides are always on the inside of the bow.

Finally, add the filler flower to the center.

Scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand.  Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot.  Tie a double knot for extra security.

Open up the loops and pull the tails down, and arrange the bow.  You have a breathtaking lemon wreath bow for summer decor!
