How to make the best summer watermelon print gift wrap bow

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here with a sweet gift wrapped and finished with a lovely Bowdabra watermelon print gift wrap bow.

Supplies:

Bowdabra Mini
Bowdabra Bow Wire
Ribbons
Wrapped Package

Instructions:

First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire, fold it in half, and insert it into the Bowdabra.  You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side.  This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.

Next, start creating the bow by placing the ribbon in the channel.
Be sure to leave a 6″ length.

Create loops by passing the ribbon through the channel, twirling it on each turn.
Continue in this manner until you have created the desired number of loops.
I created 3 loops on each side of the channel.
Use the bow wand to push the loops into the Bowdabra.

Cut 8″ lengths of white ribbon and place on top of the bow.

Next, I added some bobble ribbon, cutting each into 8″ lengths.
Again, I used the bow wand to push all ribbons into the Bowdabra.

Pull up on the bow wire, threading the ends through the loop.
Pull tight and tie off.

Fluff out the loops and dovetail the edges of the ribbons.

Wrap a package with white ribbon, then use the excess bow wire to tie the bow in place.

Fluff up the loops again till you are happy with the watermelon print gift wrap bow.

Give away with lots of love!

Thanks for stopping by.
