Video how to – Make this epic fall grapevine wreath with Bowdabra

Bring autumn flair to your front door with this beautiful fall grapevine wreath featuring a gorgeous plaid bow, fall berries, and golden eucalyptus! This beautiful design by Nick of Nick’s Seasonal Décor features a stunning bow made in the Bowdabra® to bring the whole wreath together beautifully.

Materials:

Bowdabra® Bow Wire

Large Bowdabra®

2.5” Fall Plaid Ribbon

18” Grapevine Wreath

Fall Berry Bush

Gold Eucalyptus Bush

Hot Glue

Instructions:

First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire.  Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra.  You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side.  This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.

Next, cut a length of fall plaid ribbon for the tails. Place the tails in the Bowdabra.

Now, make a twist and fold bow. Place about an inch overhang as you start your bow. Then, bring the ribbon across and scrunch down, twist, and repeat.  Continue making loops back and forth, twisting and scrunching down into the Bowdabra.  Make sure the wrong sides are always on the inside of the bow. Make 4 1/2″ loops, and make about 4 or 5 loops on each side.

Insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot.

Use the excess bow wire to tie the bow to the grapevine wreath. Fluff the bow and pull apart the loops.

Cut apart a fall berry pick and hot glue all around the wreath. Then add fall color eucalyptus all around.

You have a gorgeous fall grapevine wreath for your door or even for gifts. Perfectly made with the Bowdabra!
