Video DIY – How to make and easy and fun wreath

Hi, it’s Lisa from The Rustic Vine! In today’s tutorial, I’ll show you how to create a beautiful family-friendly, and fun wreath that makes a great gift or adds a personal touch to your home. Let’s get started! Great for kids and adults alike.

Supply list:

*Wooden hoop

*Daisy garland from Hobby Lobby

*Ribbon for bow

*Brown paint

*Hot gluefun wreath

Instructions:

first apply some brown paint to an inexpensive hoop. Let it dry. Next, use a flower garland to wrap around the hoop and then glue the daisies onto the hoop.

Continue wrapping and gluing all around the hoop until the end of the garland.  Then, glue the end to the back of the hoop.

Use the excess pieces of jute from the garland to make a loop glued onto the back for the hanger.

Use some leftover pieces of greenery and glue all around the hoop between the flowers.

Glue two shims together, paint them white, let dry, and then paint them yellow.  Glue on the back of the wreath across the front. Take some wooden letters and spell out “Hello’ paint them black and glue them on the yellow shim cross piece.

Make the bow:

Place a few pieces of coordinating ribbon and lace in an X fashion and tie in the middle with some jute.  Glue on an excess daisy from the garland to the center and attach with some hot glue to the wreath. You have a fun wreath perfect for family crafting!

NOTE: (To easily make the mini bow. use the Mini Bowdabra and Bowdabra bow wire.  Fold the bow wire in half and lay it in the Mini Bowdabra.  Then place the ribbon and lace pieces in the Mini Bowdabra in an X fashion.  thread the loose wire through the loops and pull tight. Remove, turn to the back, and tie a knot.  And you have a gorgeous mini bow.)
