Materials:

Scrap wood

Paint and wax

Acrylic paint, yellow, white, green, brown

Small round paintbrush

Piece of fabric

Mini Bowdabra bow maker

Instructions:

First, paint and prepare your scrap wood piece.  Next, using a small round paintbrush, practice making flowers on a piece of fabric scrap. Play around with the images and colors.  Then, randomly add some leaves. Let dry. Attach the painted fabric to the prepared wood scrap piece.

Next, place some fabric scrap in the Mini Bowdabra.  Using more fabric make some loops back and forth to make a small bow. Remove and tie off the bow with several knots to the back.

Glue the bow to the upper corner of the wood piece. As an added touch attach a brown button to the center of the bow and some felt-covered push pins to each corner. Finish with some dried flowers and excelsior all around the bow.

Display your spring/summer decor on tables, bookshelves, mantels, window sills, or even on the floor.
