Learn how to make DIY Patriotic Bows with Bowdabra in just a few minutes!

Blue Plaid Ribbon Bow (Starts at 2:16)

Materials required:

Process:

  1. First, Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. Then, after cutting off the tails from the Navy-Blue Plaid Wired Ribbon Roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
  3. He takes the ribbon and places it into the Bowdabra and starts creating loops.
  4. He creates 6 loops and 1 button loop using the Navy-Blue Plaid ribbon.
  5. To secure the bow, he pulls the bow wire from one end to the other and makes slip knots.
  6. Nick finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.

Funky Bow (Starts at 8:44)

Materials required:

Process:

  1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. He creates one loop (4 ½”-5”), two tails (6-8”) cuts it off and places it right into the Bowdabra.
  3. In the same fashion, he creates more 3 loops with the same ribbon.
  4. To secure the bow, he pulls the bow wire from one end to the other and makes slip knots.
  5. He finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.

Beautiful Wreath with a Funky Bow (Starts at 13:49)

Materials required:

Process:

  1. First, Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. After cutting off the tails from the beige ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
  3. Next, he creates 1 loop from the same ribbon roll, cuts it off, and places it right into the Bowdabra.
  4. He places the ribbon, creates a loop, and snips it off.
  5. He repeats the process again
  6. This time, he places the ribbon, creates two 1 loop on either side of the Bowdabra and cut it off. In this way, he creates 5 loops on the Bowdabra.
  7. To secure the bow, he pulls the bow wire from one end to the other and makes slip knots.
  8. He finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.
  9. To finish, he sticks the bow securely with hot glue to the wreath and adds some greenery decorative picks and white roses too.

Two-Ribbon Traditional Bow (Starts at 24:10)

Materials required:

Process:

  1. First, Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. After cutting off the tails from the red and blue burlap ribbon rolls, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
  3. He takes both the ribbons together and places them right into the Bowdabra.
  4. He creates 5 loops holding both the ribbons together which means he creates 10 loops!
  5. Finally, Nick secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.
