Normally, when we make bows we use Bowdabra Bow Wire. Bowdabra Bow Wire is simple and easy to use and malleable. However, when making jewelry the Bowdabra Bow Wire isn’t always ideal. Want to add a bow to charm, necklace, or bracelet? Use 24 gauge jewelry wire to hold your ribbon bow together. Materials Needed:

• 3/8″ Satin Ribbon
• 24 gauge wire
• Jewelry Wire Cutters
• Mini Bowdabra
• Hair Bow Tool & Ruler (metric side)

Instructions:

1. Begin by placing the Hair Bow Tool & Ruler (metric side) onto the Mini Bowdabra. Cut 8″ 24 gauge wire and place it into the Mini Bowdabra.

2. Cut the end of the ribbon at an angle and place it at the 3.5cm mark.

3. Fold and press the ribbon at the 2cm mark to make your first loop.

4. Fold and press a 2cm loop on the other side.

5. Cut the ribbon at an angle at the 3.5cm mark. Scrunch down with the Mini Bowdabra Wand.

6. Move the wire ends from one side to the other to form a tight folding loop.

7. Remove the bow for the Mini Bowdabra and fold one more loop of wire.

8. Use the remaining wire to attach the bow to a charm. Trim away excess 24 gauge wire. Your bow is complete.
