How to Jazz Up the Perfect Halloween Treat Bag with a Festive Bow

Treat bags are very popular for Halloween celebration. Make the perfect Halloween treat bag with the addition of a festive bow.

Gather these supplies:

• Mini Bowdabra Bow Making and Design Tool
• 15″ length Bowdabra bow wire
• Three 12″ lengths 6″ black tulle
• Three 5″ lengths 1″ Halloween patterned grosgrain ribbon
• Three 5″ lengths ¾” orange glitter ribbon
• Three 4″ lengths orange mesh ribbon
• Three 4″ lengths black mesh ribbon
• Clear treat bag (I found mine at the dollar store)
• Paper punch
• Halloween candies of your choice

Let’s make the treat bag:

1. Fold the 15″ bow wire in half and put it in the Mini Bowdabra. Tuck the ends of the wire under the Mini Bowdabra to keep them out of the way.
2. Next, scrunch the tulle into the Mini Bowdabra with the narrow end parallel to the base.
3. Layer the grosgrain and glitter ribbons on top of the tulle.
4. Next, layer the mesh ribbon on top of the ribbons already in the Mini Bowdabra.
5. Compress the ribbons with the Mini Bowdabra wand.
6. With the ribbons still in the Mini Bowdabra, pass the wire ends through the loop, and tighten. Bring the wires to the back side of the bow and tie a knot. Leave the wire ends long for tying the bow to the treat bag.
7. Fluff the bow and arrange individual ribbons as necessary.
8. Fill the treat bag with candy of your choice, and fold down the top. Pierce two holes at the top of the treat bag.
9. Pass the wire ends on the bow through the pierced holes, and tie the bow in place.
10. Ta da!! You now have a great Halloween treat bag!!
