How to decorate a paper purse gift package

Supplies:
Mini Bowdabra Bowmaking Tool
Bow Wire
Ribbon
Paper purse

This is a great project that can be created and given to anyone at any time – whether it’s for a birthday,  a friend, a teacher, or even Mother’s Day, why not create a paper purse with a fabulous bow.  The purse can be created in any size to hold special treats for someone special.

Start by placing the bow wire under the Bowdabra while you work.
Place the ribbon in the channel.  Since I wanted a delicate bow, I chose some fine sheer ribbon.

Start creating the bow, creating small loops.

Continue making as many loops as you desire.
I created 5 loops on each side.
Use the bow wand to push the loops into the channel.

Pull out the bow and tie off.

Add your bow to the paper purse gift package

Fluff out the bow, arranging the loops in a pleasing manner.

Create a paper purse and wrap the same ribbon around the purse as a closure.
Using the ribbon, tie the bow to the purse.
Twirl the bow wire on a craft tool.

Wouldn’t this be a great gift for Mom?
