Nicole Reed of The Crafty Farm Girl / Reed Family Farm, part of the Bowdabra® Design Team, creates a festive Holiday deco mesh wreath. She uses three coordinating mesh colors and six holiday ribbon patterns. Get inspired to create your own colorful holiday wreath made in the Bowdabra®!
Materials
14-inch wire wreath form
3 rolls of 10-inch-wide deco mesh (10 yards per roll; 30 yards total in three colors), cut into 18-inch pieces
6 rolls of 2½-inch-wide wired Christmas ribbon (5 yards per roll; 30 yards total), cut into 8-inch strips
Instructions:
First, cut the mesh to 18″ and the ribbon to 8″. Next, make ribbon bunches with mesh and ribbon strips.
Cut a length of Bowdabra bow wire, fold it in half, and place it in the Bowdabra. Now, roll the mesh piece and scrunch it in the middle, and place it in the Bowdabra. Then add 3 pieces of ribbon. Alternate the ribbon patterns so no ribbon bunch is the same.
Thread the loose wires through the loop and pull tight. Remove from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot.
Next, attach four ribbon bundles to each section of the wire wreath form.
Continue adding the ribbon bundles all around. When you are done, you will have a gorgeous Holiday deco mesh wreath!
