Hi everyone! I’m Joette from the Bowdabra Design Team, and today I’ll show you a simple seasonal wreath hack using Bowdabra. This easy tutorial will help you create a festive wreath that brightens your seasonal decor—no hot glue required! Let’s get started!
Materials:
– 18” pine wreath form
– Berry stem
– Poinsettia pick
– 2 magnolia picks/sprays
– 4” wide wired ribbon
– 1.5” wide wired ribbon
– 7/8” wide wired ribbon
– Large Bowdabra
– Bowdabra Bow Wire

Instructions:
First, cut a long length of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Make this attachment with a top and a bottom.
Next, place the greenery on each side of the Bowdabra. Then, place a stem of berries in the Bowdabra. Place the longer section of berries on the bottom side of the wreath attachment
Find the center of a piece of 4″ wide ribbon and scrunch it down into the Bowdabra. Now bring one side across and scrunch down, then bring the other side across and scrunch down. (shoe bow)
Next, using a 1 1/2′ wide velvet wired ribbon, place it in the Bowdabra, leaving a tail, twist and fold across to make a loop, twist and make a loop, and scrunch down in the Bowdabra.
With the last 1-inch wide ribbon, make a shoe bow as you did with the first ribbon. Add a poinsettia pick. For the final touch, take some more 1″ ribbon and form a loop like an awareness ribbon and lay it in the Bowdabra.
Finishing your seasonal wreath:
Insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot. Tie a double knot for extra security.
Fluff and shape the attachment. Curl the ends of the tails and attach it to the wreath.
