  • Chocolate chips (4 oz. for six stirs)
  • Mini marshmallows

  • Colorful baking sprinkles
  • Parchment paper or silicone mat
  • Microwave-safe bowl

Let’s make Hot Cocoa Stir Sticks:

  1. Prepare workspace
Lay parchment or a silicone mat on a flat surface. Arrange spoons spaced apart so chocolate won’t run together.
  2. Melt the chocolate
Melt gently in 20–30 second bursts in a microwave, stirring between bursts until smooth. Keep chocolate warm over a container of hot water.
  3. Coat the spoons
Hold a spoon by the handle, and with another spoon drizzle melted chocolate into the bowl of the spoon you’re holding. Fill Spoon with Melted Chocolate
  4. Add toppings quickly
While the chocolate is still wet, add mini marshmallows and sprinkles to each spoon. Use your fingers to lightly press the toppings into the soft chocolate.Add Toppings to Chocolate in the Spoon
  5. Set and chill
Let hot cocoa stir sticks rest at room temperature until set. Set Stir Sticks Aside to Set
