Join Nick of Nick’s Seasonal Décor for a stunning classic Spring Wreath tutorial! In this session, Nick will show you how to create a beautiful wreath that captures the essence of spring.
Materials required:
White-Blue-Yellow ribbon roll
Hot glue
Grapevine wreath
Yellow and blue flower bushes
Bunch of Yellow Daisy Floral stems
Bowdabra

Instructions
First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Next, cut a length of ribbon and place it in the Bowdabra for the tails.
Now, create a funky bow style bow with the same ribbon. Fold lengths of ribbon in half with a loop on one side and two tails on the other, like an awareness ribbon. Then, place them in the Bowdabra alternating the sides of loops and tails.
If there is a wrong and right side of the ribbon, make sure you twist when you place it in the Bowdabra so that the wrong side is on the inside.
Make about 5 loops.
Now, scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot. Tie a double knot for extra security.
Dovetail all the ends of the ribbons.
Make your wreath:
Attach the bow to the wreath using the excess wire. Using some hot glue, add flowers and greenery all around the wreath randomly.
You have a stunning classic spring wreath that will ward off any winter blues in a hurry!
