Want to dress up your gift packages this year? Watch this easy DIY video with Bowdabra creator, Sandy Sandler, and make a gorgeous holiday gift bow in just minutes! The gift wrap may be tossed, but this beautiful bow will be saved and cherished!
Materials:
Bowdabra
Bowdabra Bow Wire
72” – 2.5” wide Wired Shimmering Sheer ribbon
92” – 1.5” wide Tinsel Wired Mesh
2 – Festive Christmas picks

Instructions:
First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Cut pieces of the sheer ribbon about 12” long and dovetail the ends. To dovetail, fold the ribbon in half and cut at an angle away from the fold. Now, pinch the ribbon pieces in the center and lay them into the Bowdabra, shaping as you place them down. Continue adding ribbon till you have added about 7-8 pieces.
Next, add the tinsel-wired mesh ribbon. Fold pieces like an awareness ribbon and lay them into the Bowdabra alternating the loops and tails as you add them. (funky bow)
Now, lay in a holiday pick, followed by a whimsical holiday pick. Then, lay in two more sheer ribbon strips.
Then, place some of the sheer ribbon in the Bowdabra from the top and scrunch it down into the Bowdabra like an accordion.
To finish, scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot. Tie a double knot for extra security.
Use a glue dot, hot glue, or the excess bow wire to attach the holiday gift bow to your package.
