Hello everyone! I’m Joette from the Bowdabra Design Team, and today I’ll be showing you how to effortlessly create a stunning harvest lantern swag using the Bowdabra. This design is perfect for capturing the essence of late summer and early fall. Let’s dive in and get started!
Materials:
3 picks of pompous grass
Eucalyptus pick
Wheat pick
Foliage and pumpkin pick
Medium-sized Lantern

Instructions:
First, take a long length of Bowdabra bow wire, fold it in half, and lay it in the Bowdabra. You will have a wire loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. Tuck the ends underneath while you are making your lanern swag. This is your slip knot.
Next, place in some pompous grass, eucalyptus, and wheat picks.
Now, create a funky bow. Fold lengths of burlap ribbon and lay them in the Bowdabra, leaving about an inch. Bring the ribbon across and make a loop on one side and one tail on the other side. Continue in this way, alternating the sides of the loops and tail.
Next, add a fall pick in the Bowdabra.
Using the yellow burlap ribbon, make a little shoe bow. Find the center of a piece of ribbon and scrunch it down into the Bowdabra. Now bring one side across and scrunch down, then bring the other side across and scrunch down. Repeat this step a second time.
Now scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot. Tie a double knot for extra security.
Fluff and arrange the swag. Use the excess wire to tie the swag to the lantern. You have a gorgeous harvest lantern swag that took just a few minutes! Perfect for gifts and fall get-togethers.
