DIY Funky Bow

Materials required:

100-yard Bowdabra bow wire

Large Bowdabra

Lemon Printed Burlap Ribbon Roll (Beige)

Instructions:

First, fold the bow wire in half, place it in the Bowdara, and tuck it underneath the Bowdabra so it stays out of the way while making the bow.

Next, make one loop with the lemon-printed burlap ribbon folded like an awareness ribbon. Place it in the Bowdabra.  

Make 4 more loops on the Bowdabra in the same manner, but alternating the loops and tails.

Thread the loose bow wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot and a double knot. Finish by fluffing the loops and dovetail on the ends.

Lemon Printed Burlap Ribbon Traditional Bow

Materials required:

100-yard Bowdabra bow wire

Large Bowdabra

Lemon Printed Burlap Ribbon Roll (Beige)

Instructions:

Fold the bow wire in half and lay it in the Bowdabra as you did with the first bow.

Cut off some more ribbon from the lemon ribbon roll for the tails and place them right into the Bowdabra.

Lay the longer piece of ribbon in, leaving a little bit of overhang, and then make 2 loops (4″) on each side of the Bowdabra.

Next, make 4 comparatively smaller loops (2½”) and finish with a  1″ button loop.

Thread the loose wires through the loop and pull tight as you did on the first bow. Remove from the Bowdabra and turn to the back, and secure the bow with several knots.

Fluff the loops and cut the dovetails on the tail ends.
