Hi everyone! I’m Joette from the Bowdabra Design Team, and today I’ll show you how to create a Breast Cancer Awareness wreath using a pool noodle, Bowdabra®, and a shower loofah scrubber. While we’re using pink for this project, you can customize your Ribbon Wreath for any cause by choosing different colors. Let’s get started!
Supplies:
1 yard of 10″ wide Deco Mesh
1.5 yards of 2.5″ wide wired ribbon
1 of each ribbon… 24″ long tails
4 24″-26″ strips of 1.5″ wide ribbon (2 of each color)
1 Pool Noodle
Shower Poof
1 floral pick or enough loose flowers & greenery to fill the center
1 zip tie

Instructions:
First, take the pool noodle and fold it into the shape of an awareness ribbon. Cut out some notches where the awareness ribbon meets. Next, unravel the shower poof and wrap it all around the prepared pool noodle. Tuck the ends into the noodle.
Now fold the pool noodle back to the awareness ribbon shape and use the notches to zip tie it together. Set aside.
Make the bow
Cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Next, take some 10-inch wide deco mesh and place the end in the Bowdabra. Bring it across and place the other end in the Bowdabra. Now scrunch down in the center.
Now, place the 2 1/2″ wide gingham ribbon in the Bowdabra. Bring it across and scrunch down. Then bring the other end across and find the center and scrunch down. You will have two little bows.
Now add the tails in each color. In the sheer ribbon in coordinating colors, create a funky bow style bow. Fold lengths of ribbon in half with a loop on one side and two tails on the other, like an awareness ribbon. Then, place them in the Bowdabra alternating the sides of loops and tails. Make sure you twist when you place it in the Bowdabra so that the wrong side is on the inside.
Finally, add some greenery and pink florals.
Now, scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot. Tie a double knot for extra security. Fluff and shape the bow bundle.
Use the excess wires to tie the bow to the breast cancer wreath and enjoy it all through October.
