How to make quick and easy funky bow

Create a stylish Funky Bow with Nick of Nick’s Seasonal Décor. This versatile and easy funky bow is perfect for any occasion and can elevate your décor to the next level.

Materials Required:

* Bowdabra Bow Wire
* Large Bowdabra
* Black-White Striped Ribbon

Instructions

First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire.  Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra.  You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side.  This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.

Next, cut several strips of ribbon. It’s not important to be exact. Just cut them about 24 – 30 inches long.

Now take the ribbons and pinch about 3 1/2″ -4″ down.

Place them in the Bowdabra alternating the sides of loops and tails. Make sure the right sides are facing up.

Insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot.  Tie a double knot for extra security. The Bowdabra wire makes it so easy!

Dovetail all the ends of the ribbon.

To dovetail, fold the ribbon in half and cut at an angle away from the fold. Fluff out the bow by pulling the tails upwards and opening up the loops. You have quick and easy funky bow to use on gifts, wreaths, and more
