Hi everyone! I’m Joette from the Bowdabra Design Team, and today I’ll show you how to create easy Valentine’s magic with this inexpensive DIY Valentine centerpiece. This charming project will add a lovely touch to your Valentine’s decor in no time. Let’s get started!
Supplies:
1.5 yds – 18”-21” wide Deco Mesh
1.5 yds – 10” wide Deco Mesh
3 yds – 2.5” wide wired velvet ribbon
2 yds – 2.5” wide wired valentine print ribbon
1 yd – 2.5” wide wired sparkly ribbon
1.5 yds – 1.5” wide wired valentine print ribbon
2.5 yds – 1.5” wired black Brilliance ribbon
Optional: Candle Stick

Instructions:
First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Next, using some 18-20 inch wide deco mesh, fold the ends under to hide any fraying, then scrunch down from the center till you reach the end, then fold the ends under. Adjust the bow if necessary.
Now, using a 10-inch wide red deco mesh, make a fold and twist bow. Scrunch in the ribbon, then bring the ribbon across and scrunch down, twist, and repeat. Continue making loops back and forth, twisting and scrunching down into the Bowdabra.
Next, lay two lengths of velvet ribbon tails in an X-like pattern in the Bowdabra. Using the same velvet ribbon may a shoelace bow. Find the center of the length of the ribbon and scrunch it down into the Bowdabra. Now bring one side across and scrunch down, then bring the other side across and scrunch down.
Add some florals:
Now, add a fern bush, letting it fall on each side. Follow with adding a filler flower bush.
Add two more tails in the Valentine print ribbon in the X-pattern. Using about 18″ of the same print ribbon, make another shoelace bow. Continue with another shoelace bow with some red glitter ribbon, and another with a different Valentine print ribbon.
Next, using two lengths of the black glitter ribbon, find the center and place it in the Bowdabra. Lay in some flowers and continue to make a shoelace bow.
Now scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot. Tie a double knot for extra security. Fluff and arrange the bow.
Finishing your Valentine’s magic centerpiece by hot gluing it to your candlestick. Beautiful, quick, and super easy!
