Remember a time before Internet and email when – gasp – postcards were sent! Patriotic postcards were pictorial expression of the emotions and moods of the time. The red, white, and blue images evoke patriotism and the national spirit. Treat your friends and family this 4th of July to a special patriotic postcard. Visit the Graphic Fairy for a large printable image that can be used as a postcard or folded card. (We provided a small thumbnail to view for the actual image please visit the Graphic Fairy.)

Chalk Party Favors by Sarah

Spectacular fireworks are part of the 4th of July “evening” experience but during the day decorate tables with little firecracker chalk party favors. The favors will be a charming addition to tables and the perfect go-to when kids get bored. Easily remove the ribbon from the chalk and kids can use them on sidewalks and driveways. Visit Bowdabra Designer, Sarah’s full tutorial here.
