How Kids Can Make the Perfect Thanksgiving Turkey Bookmarks

Gobble, gobble!! With just a couple of craft supplies, the young artist can create this clever Thanksgiving turkey bookmark. Reading will be fun when they mark their places with this cute turkey!

Here are the supplies that you need:

• Scraps of fall-colored cardstock
• Craft stick
• Liquid adhesive or double-sided tape
• Turkey Bookmark templates

Let’s make the turkey bookmark:

1. Print and cut out the template pieces. Trace the shapes onto scraps of colored cardstock. You’ll need one body, one beak, and five feathers. (If you don’t have scraps of cardstock, you can download, print, and cut out the colored template pieces.)
2. Arrange the tail feathers, gluing them together as you go.
3. Glue the body on top of the tail feathers.
4. Glue the beak in place.
5. Add eyes with a black marker.
6. Glue a craft stick to the back of the turkey.
7. Grab a good book and have this turkey keep track of your place.
