Video how to – Stunning DIY centerpiece made easy with Bowdabra

Sandy Sandler, the creator of the Bowdabra shows you how to make a stunning DIY centerpiece (or door swag!) using the Bowdabra®—no glue required! With a funky bow, fall florals, and even a cute pumpkin, you’ll have a wow-worthy piece in minutes.

Materials:

Bowdabra

Bowdabra Bow Wire

Blooming Rose Bush

2 – Filler Flower Bushes

Fall Pick

Ficus Branch

Foliage Bush

60” – 2.5” wide Gold Emelia ribbon

48” – 2.5” wide Yellow Sunflower Meadows ribbon

40” – 1.5” wide Orange Wired Burlap ribbon

Instructions:

First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire.  Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra.  You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side.  This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your centerpiece or door swag

Next, lay in some greenery on each side. Now, bend a rose bush in half and place it in the Bowdabra with some roses on each side. Then, fan out some filler flowers and place them in the Bowdabra. Repeat this step with the sunflower print ribbon.

Now, create a funky bow style bow. Fold lengths of Emilia ribbon in half with a loop on one side and two tails on the other, like an awareness ribbon. Then, lay them in the Bowdabra alternating the sides of loops and tails. Dovetail the ends of the ribbon. To dovetail, fold the ribbon in half and cut at an angle away from the fold.

Place a pumpkin pick in the center. Repeat one more funky bow style with lengths of the orange burlap ribbon.

Now, scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand.  Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot.  Tie a double knot for extra security.

To finish, fluff out the ribbon loops and arrange the florals. You have a stunning DIY centerpiece that required no hot glue and was made in just minutes!
