How to Make the Perfect Leaf Gnome Magnet Autumn Decoration

Leaf Gnome Magnets are the perfect autumn decoration with their splash of vibrant fall colors. Icing on the cake is that they are so-o-o-o easy to make. Follow along with this tutorial and make your own leaf gnome magnet.

Here are the supplies that you’ll need:

• Colorful artificial autumn leaves
• Acorns (real or artificial)
• Scraps of patterned cardstock in fall colors
• Your choice of adhesive—liquid glue, double-sided tape, glue dots, etc.
• Button magnets
• Leaf Gnome Hats patterns

Let’s make a Leaf Gnome Magnet:

1. First, deconstruct the artificial leaves. Peel the “veins” from the back of the leaves and discard.
2. Stack two leaves and glue together along the top edge.
3. Using the Leaf Gnome Hats patterns cut a hat of the appropriate size from your patterned cardstock. Glue this hat to the top of the leaves.
4. Glue the acorn nose in place.
5. Lastly, glue a button magnet to the back side of your gnome.
6. Make several leaf gnome magnets, and splash those autumn colors around your home.
