How to Make the Perfect Ghost Banner for a Happy Halloween

Transform a simple paper chain into a Halloween ghost banner. What a great way for young artists to create Halloween decorations.

Gather these supplies:

Let’s make the ghost banner:

  1. Cut several 6″ x ½” strips from the orange and black cardstock.Cut Strips for Paper Chain
  2. Cut out the ghost shapes from the pattern template for ghosts. Use these patterns to trace the shapes onto white cardstock. Cut out the white ghosts.
  3. Make a paper chain alternating black and orange links. This chain can be any length you desire.Form Paper Chain
  4. Use the slot at the top of the ghost’s head to connect it to the paper chain with a black link. Continue attaching as many ghosts as you desire.Attach Ghosts to Paper Chain
