How to make adorable rosettes to add to your gifts

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here, using the Bowdabra to create adorable rosettes for gift packages. Make these quick and easy embellishments with any ribbon of choice for seasonal gifts.

Supplies:
Bowdabra Bow Making Tool Large
Bowdabra Bow Wire
Floral Ribbon
Pinecones or appropriate embellishment

Instructions:

First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire, fold it in half, and insert it into the Bowdabra.  You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side.  This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.

Using a wide ribbon – I believe mine was about 6″ wide, I cut off a piece about 24″ in length.
Start by placing the ribbon in the channel.

Continue working with the ribbon, pushing it into the channel.

Use the Bow Wand to push the ribbon into the channel.

Pull up on the bow wire, threading the ends through the loop.
Pull tight, turn to the back, and tie a knot.

I made a handful of rosettes so I could use them on assorted packages.

Then I found some mini pinecones and glued them to the center of each rosette. You vary the embellishments to add to the center of the rosettes depending upon your event or season. Think shamrocks for St. Pat’s Day, Hearts for Valentine’s Day, or Mini Bunnies for Easter.

Glue the rosette to the corner of the gift box.
Fill the box with candy, and you are done!

While I did use some fall ribbon, change up the ribbon to make these adorable rosettes for any season or reason. This is such a sweet way to add to any gift!

Thanks for stopping by.
