Instructions

First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire.  Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra.  You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side.  This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.

Next, take a length of burlap ribbon with the tail end dovetailed. Place it in the Bowdabra with a one-inch overlap, bring it across, and make a loop. You will have one tail. Repeat on the other side.  Repeat this step two more times alternating the tails and loops.

To dovetail, fold the ribbon in half and cut at an angle away from the fold.

Next,  place two scrap pieces of ribbon in the Bowdabra in an X shape. Continue laying scrap ribbons in an X shape as desired.  Now take a long piece of ribbon, place it in the Bowdabra in the center bring one end across making a loop, and repeat with the other side leaving the tails long.

Next, using more scrap ribbon start with a one-inch overhang and bring it across to have a loop and one tail.  Repeat. Lay in a focal flower. Insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot. Fluff out the bow.

Make the floral wreath attachment:

Reload the Bowdabra with some Bow wire as you did for the bow. Next, place some ferns on both sides of the Bowdabra. Keep adding different kinds of greenery.

Add several hanging florals and greenery. Add some vines.

Next, add a rose bush bending to place it on both sides of the Bowdabra. Repeat this step by bending and adding a lavender bush. Finish with a pansy bush added in the same manner. Tie the floral attachment like you did the bow, turn to the back, and tie a double knot.

To finish use the excess wires to tie the floral attachment onto the wreath. Tie the previously made bow in the center of the floral attachment. clip the excess wires and fluff and arrange the florals and bow.  You have a stunning DIY large wreath created in just minutes!
