Easy to make fun St. Patrick’s Day hat

Hi everyone! Tammy here with you today with a fun and inexpensive St. Patrick’s Day hat idea for St. Patrick’s Day. I am hosting a St. Patrick’s Day party this year and when I saw these cute little hats at the Dollar Store, I knew they would make a great St. Patrick’s Day hat party favor. Here is how I embellished them…

 

Bowdabra St. Patrick’s Day hat

Supplies:

Mini Bowdabra

Bowdabra wire

Party hat

Ribbon

Gold coin accents

Feathers

Glue Dots adhesive

Directions:

Cut an 18″ piece of Bowdabra wire, fold in half and place inside the Mini Bowdabra as shown.

Cut a 24″ piece of ribbon and create 3 loops on each side by twisting ribbon and looping back into the center of the Mini Bowdabra.

Add feathers

Add sequin ribbon creating 4 loops with the same looping technique.

Pull Bowdabra wire into a slip knot and secure the center of the bow.

Tie a double knot and clip off and extra wire.

Place Glue Dots Squares on sequin ribbon and wrap around rim of hat for extra embellishment.

Add a Glue Dot Pop Dot to the gold coin and place in the center of the bow.

Add a Glue Dot Pop Dot to the back of the bow and place on the side of the hat.
